Maersk is looking for additional locations throughout Southern California, according to Louis Tomaselli, senior vice president in the Anaheim Metro office of Voit Commercial Brokerage and a member of the Tomaselli Zehner Group. The Tomaselli Zehner Group is working on behalf of Maersk, along with Maersk's North American real estate representative, the Garibaldi Group, to find those additional locations.
"This is positive news as it confirms the strength of the logistics business and importance of the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to the largest logistical services firm in the world," Tomaselli comments. In both leases, Maersk Distribution was represented by Tomaselli and Mitch Zehner of Voit's Anaheim Metro office, along with Peter Blanchard of the Garibaldi Group. The Garibaldi Group is a Voit partner in the Corfac International alliance.
In the Carson lease, property owner Watson Land Co. was represented by Jeffrey Jennison. In the City of Industry transaction, property owner Majestic Realty Co. was represented by Terry Baker.
