The new Western National complex is located at 7750 Desert Holly St. near the intersection of Pine Avenue and Euclid avenues within the Preserve at Chino, a 1,000-acre master-planned community. The amenities at the new complex include a resident clubhouse with media center, a fitness center, a business center, wireless internet hotspots and a resort-style swimming pool and spa.
Of the 250 units at Meadow Square, 106 are affordable housing units with rents ranging from $563 to $1,998. Kevin Hampton, vice president of development for Western National, says that the company's goal was to deliver an affordable project to the City of Chino in an upscale neighborhood. "In the past, affordable housing was found in low-end neighborhoods," he explains.
The Meadow Square floor plans include a 728-sf, one bedroom and one bath unit, a 961-sf two-bedroom unit with two baths and an 1,109-sf, three-bedroom unit with two baths. The apartments feature full-size washers and dryers, a complete kitchen appliance packages, double stainless-steel sinks, oversized closets and hardwood-style flooring in kitchens and entries.
In addition, Hampton points out, residents of the new complex will have access to a number of new neighborhoods and schools, private recreation, parks close to home and other amenities. Meadow Square will be managed by Western National Property Management, the property management arm of Western National Group, which is a 45-year-old multifamily acquisition, development, construction and property management firm.
