The franchise owner, Genco Development LLC, leased 2,923 sf at 233-237 Main St. in Madison and 2,500 sf at Waynechester Plaza, located at 1600-1660 Route 23 North in Wayne. Genco was represented by Glenn Beyer, a retail leasing specialist with Philadelphia-based Metro Commercial Real Estate. Specific details of the transactions were not disclosed.
Beyer tells GlobeSt.com that Waynechester Plaza, owned by Waynechester Plaza LLC, benefits from a strong vehicle traffic volume on Route 23 as well as a wealthy local demographic. The Madison site, which is owned by Planet MSC LLC, is located near Drew University, Farleigh Dickinson University and the College of St. Elizabeth, which provide a high volume of potential customers.
According to Beyer, Five Guys, which has more than 275 locations across the country, plans to continue expanding throughout the northeast. Beyer will represent the franchisee for Morris, Passaic and Sussex counties.
