Atlanta-based Colliers Spectrum Cauble is marketing the rear-load space along Georgia 124 near Interstate 85, in Atlanta's northeast industrial submarket.</p> <p xmlns:i=\"incisive-repository\" xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\">Sid Johnson, CEO and founder of Commonwealth Southeast, tells GlobeSt.com that he believes Braselton Distribution Center will set the standard for LEED certification of industrial buildings. \"US corporations are increasingly sensitive to green issues involving energy and environmental conservation, and we intend to be on the leading edge in response to this demand,\" he says.</p> <p xmlns:i=\"incisive-repository\" xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\">Green elements of Braselton Distribution Center include low-impact stormwater design, reflective roofing, reuse of non-potable water for irrigation, high-efficiency heating and lighting and low-emission paint, adhesives and sealants. Recycled structural steel and concrete are being used where possible, and construction of the distribution center also involves using locally made materials to reduce transportation emissions.</p> <p xmlns:i=\"incisive-repository\" xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\">Steve Grable, senior vice president of Colliers Spectrum Cauble, says the new center will fill a need in the Atlanta industrial marketplace. He is working with VP Price Weaver to market the building for Commonwealth Southeast.</p> <p xmlns:i=\"incisive-repository\" xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\">\"The construction timing is perfect given our current economy,\" Grable says. \"The building delivers at the end of the year, and by then we expect resurgent tenant demand to be well under way.\"</p> <p xmlns:i=\"incisive-repository\" xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\">Commonwealth Southeast specializes in acquiring and developing industrial properties.
