Frantisek Halaszik, head of project management for the firm, said in a statement that companies such as AT&T, UPC, Lenovo, and Siemens have moved to the district. "Petrzalka is on its way to become a business destination of choice for large multinationals," he said in the statement. The area also boasts the Aupark shopping and entertainment center.
A spokesman tells GlobeSt.com that marketing agents CB Richard Ellis and Apollo "are in ongoing discussions with international and local firms for Emporia Towers. There's been a very positive reaction." The first tower will be completed in the Q3 2009, and the second tower will follow a year later, he says. He would not answer questions regarding the price of the complex.
The district is connected to the region by five bridges, two of which normally carry traffic from countries such as Hungary and the Czech Republic. The city is also on the border of Austria.
