The tenant was represented by John B. Aires, sales associate with NAI James E. Hanson in Hackensack. The landlord was represented by brokers from the Bridgewater-based Atlantic Real Estate Services. Terms were not released.
"This transaction was attractive to Interstate Bakery because the landlord acted quickly in accommodating the tenant's need for a prompt move," Aires says. "The location is also convenient because it is between both of the company's former sites."
Interstate Bakery's new location is in this township's Somerset section, near Exit 12 of I-287. The building's 153,000-sf layout includes 33,000 sf of office space.
