This is an expansion for Danfoss, which has occupied space in White Marsh since the mid-1980s. It will transfer more than 230 employees to its new facility in Baltimore Crossroads @95, located near the intersection of MD Route 43 and Interstate 95.

Green features in the single-story building will include a high-efficiency HVAC system, high performance windows, lavatories featuring low water volume toilets and waterless urinals, a white thermoplastic polyolefin roofing system and Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood and drought-tolerant landscaping and plants. "Because refrigeration and cooling is our business, it was important to move into a new building that sets energy efficiency as such a high priority," says Robert Wilkins, president of Danfoss, in a prepared statement. St. John Properties collaborated with Danfoss to meet LEED criteria, says Rick Williamson, SVP for St. John Properties, in a prepared statement. At full build out, Baltimore Crossroads @95 will support more than five million sf of commercial office, flex/research and development, warehouse and industrial space, as well as two hotels and 450,000-sf of retail space.
