The Christmas store is mostly located in the Northeast, and this is the first move west for the company. Other new stores include Burlington Coat Factory, JoAnn Fabrics, Health Foods Unlimited, PetSmart, Value City Furniture, Qdoba, Regency Beauty and Skeffington's Formal Wear, as well as a 4,200-sf Fifth Third Bank. Existing tenants include Half Price Books, Computer Zoo and Leslie's Poolmart.

There are 33 stores total in the center, which is adjacent to the 1.3-million-sf Dayton Mall, owned by Glimcher Realty Trust. About 61,000-sf is available at South Towne, according to the company's Web site.

Centro officials said in a statement that the redevelopment project included site improvements and upgrades including a façade renovation, new parking lot asphalt, upgraded illumination for the parking lot and walkways, new concrete islands and refreshed landscaping. A company official could not be reached for comment.
