The 224-room luxury hotel at 7277 E. Camelback Rd. was developed by TriYar Hospitality in Los Angeles. The hotel had its "soft" opening in early September and a grand opening in late October, some 14 months after the original planned opening. BREW reports that TriYar is tangled up with lawsuits and liens with the general contractor, Hunt Construction Group in Scottsdale.
