The 364,000-square-foot, three-story office building was built by Pfizer in 1987. It's located one mile from the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International airport and sports a number of class A features, including a full-service cafeteria, 360-seat auditorium, 34 conference rooms, two 60-seat training rooms and a glass atrium. Seated on more than 40 acres of land, the property can house roughly 1,000 employees.

"This facility is a value opportunity for any investor or owner to establish a footprint in the central United States, minutes away from the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport and nearby major port-of-call access. Kalamazoo County has historically been the 'test market' for many rapidly expanding companies within the United States," says Rhett Winchell, president of the Auction Group.

According to the terms agreed upon for the auction, the property will go to the most qualified bidder, not necessarily the highest one. The Auction Group will received sealed bids until noon on June 9, 2009. The results will be announced no later than the end of the day on June 12, 2009.

Earlier this week, GlobeSt.com reported that the Carriage Factory, located at 303 Water St. in Flint, MI is also being sold via a sealed bid. NAI Farbman's Erik Lawshe is exclusively offering the 25,000-square-foot, two-story building.
