"Institutions of all types are facing unprecedented exposure to distressed commercial, retail, and residential assets," Cousins CEO Tom Bell stated in a release. He believes the firm's experience, spanning the past 51 years, will allow it to help navigate through tough times.
Cousins states that it expects more clients to ask for help as institutions realize the need for seasoned advisors to complete partially developed projects, work through refinancing efforts and assist with disposition of assets. The firm's advisory group will provide development services, financial services and asset management.
