"We are pleased that we could meet Essence Health Care's space needs and, at the same time, forge a relationship with a new customer," says Toby Martin, SVP in Duke's St. Louis office. "Duke continues to be successful in working with clients to deliver outstanding space solutions in the St. Louis area. We feel particularly fortunate to fill this space within just two months of it becoming vacant."
The now fully-leased property, is part of the seven-building mixed-use office and industrial park here. Elsevier, Express Scripts and United Healthcare are also located in the business park. In addition to the buildings, Duke has an 18-acre plot up for sale of build-to-suit in the park.
David Kelpe, VP Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, represented ESSENCE. Whitaker Varley, VP of leasing, represented Duke.
For Duke, this is the second large St. Louis transaction in 2009. As reported by GlobeSt.com in March, the company sold two buildings and two land parcels in the Maryville Centre to Scottrade.
