The new Pacific Business Centers space is at 2173 Salk Ave., one of the three buildings at Ventana Real, which is situated on approximately 15 acres fronting El Camino Real between Faraday Avenue and College Boulevard. Newport National was represented in the lease by Mark Avilla of Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial, who says that one of the reasons that the brokerage pursued PBC as a tenant for Ventana Real is that PBC incubates smaller users and start ups, "some of which will eventually grow into the building."
In addition to the 69 furnished executive offices, the PBC business center will feature a boardroom, a business lounge, three conference rooms, and an array of support services. The center will be located on the second floor at 2173 Salk Ave., McClellan-Palomar Airport and close to interstates 5 and 78.
The new business center expects to attract attorneys, professional firms, start-ups and corporate users, according to Jeff Warner, PBC managing partner in San Diego. The business center, which will be the 15th PBC location in California, will offer flexible lease options to allow companies the freedom to grow or downsize without disruption.
