Sipple has 30 years experience in hotel development, finance, valuation and operations. At Carlson, he lead the team responsible for seeking, structuring, and executing owned, managed, franchised, or joint venture opportunities for the Regent International Hotels, Radisson Hotels & Resorts, and Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts brands throughout North and South America, and the Caribbean. He reportedly oversaw more than 200 deals during his tenure there.

Prior to Carlson, Sipple was regional development director for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. His duties therein included product positioning for Westin, Sheraton, Four Points and Luxury Collection brands in the western US. During his tenure at Starwood Sipple was responsible for developing over $1 billion of assets including portfolio transactions, ski resorts, golf resorts, mixed-use developments, urban high-rise and luxury destination resorts.
Sipple is a Certified Hotel Administrator with the American Hotel & Lodging Association and a licensed Real Estate Broker in Minnesota. Prior to Starwood Sipple held senior development roles for Ramada Inns and Brookshire Hotels, and also led the management advisory services practice for the Dallas office of Pannell Kerr Forster, and also headed his own businesses, Index Consulting Group and Key Lending LLC.
