In his new capacity, Lottefier will seek to leverage his knowledge of global markets and the company's international capabilities for the benefit of existing clients in the New York metropolitan region and throughout the Northeast, according to a release. He will be responsible for expanding the company's international business across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific regions and will forge relationships with key personnel in the New York office to incorporate a global component to its range of client services.
A 19-year veteran of commercial real estate, Lottefier led a team of more than 3,000 real estate professionals as CEO of JLL's India operations before joining the New York office. The India group's service platform included transaction management, project and development management, facility and property management, research, strategic consulting, capital markets, valuation and retail advisory.
In addition to his stint in India, Lottefier has also worked in Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, China and Hong Kong. He also has experience in the corporate real estate sector, serving as a regional director with Level 3 Communications, and as director and head of Asia Pacific real estate for Nortel. His experience encompasses strategic portfolio services, business plan integration, mergers and acquisitions, real estate master planning, account management, transactions, project management, valuations and portfolio consolidation strategies.
In a release, Peter Riguardi, president of JLL's New York office, says Lottefier's "considerable skill" in international business will be "crucial to helping clients in the New York metropolitan region tap into the firm's integrated worldwide platform of services."
