Sperry describes the new brokers as "experienced investment advisers who have the skills necessary to succeed in this challenging environment." He notes that SVN's Orange County office, which is independently owned and operated, is a a full service brokerage.
The brokers joining the SVN Irvine office include Sharon Browning, Jorgen Christiansen, Sonia Coronel, Larry de Santis, Patrick DiCaprio, Susan Doan, Scott Hoerling, Fouy Ly, Chris Marquis, Lily Nguyen, Brian Sperry and Damon Wyler. With the additional brokers, the Sperry Van Ness Orange County franchise now totals 51 professionals specializing in the leasing, sales and property management of office, industrial, flex, retail, land and multifamily real estate.
The company also manages approximately 10 million square feet of property throughout the US, a total that is expected to grow as a result of the assignments that SVN is winning to assist lenders with receivership and management of their distressed assets. Its SVN Equities division has put together more than 50 partnerships, which currently own nearly 6.5 million square feet of property valued at more than $500 million.
Guardian Management consolidated its Southern California offices of SVN in January. The Guardian franchise, which does business as Sperry Van Ness Real Estate Services, recently opened a new branch in Calabasas.
