Estimated land acquisition and infrastructure costs for the development's first phase would be approximately $41.5 million, and would focus on site acquisition and completion of a 100,000-square-foot building. Within 20 years, the site could hold 10 buildings.
The article says that the three sites presented to the city council by consultant ANGLE Technology Group meet specified criteria. One of the criteria are that the sites need to be within a five-minute drive of research at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
