The 205,000-square-foot Northgate Mall is anchored by JC Penney and Big Lots. According to the mall's website other tenants include Bath & Body Works, Claire's Boutique, Game Stop, Gap and Hot Topic. The mall opened in 1972 and received renovations in 1991 and 1997. The property's vacancy rate was not disclosed.
Cherokee Square Shopping Center is an open-air retail center that sits adjacent to Northgate Mall and totals 76,000 square feet.
"The owners... are ready to see change - ready to move forward and energize these two shopping centers," says kate Sheehy, SVP of client services for General Growth. "Our leasing team will be pursuing appropriate new retailers to enhance the merchandise mix."
