Previously, Phelan worked for Nationwide Financial Services over the last nine years. Most recently he held the position of senior vice president/group executive in the individual investments group. His career also includes stints with Checkfree Corp., AT&T and IBM.
In his new position, Phelan will be in charge of 44 employees who cover a wide variety of commercial real estate including industrial, office and retail properties as well as investment, management and corporate services.
