OrthopaediCare intends to build a 33,000-square-foot orthopedic center on its site. Construction of the new outpatient center is slated to begin this October, pending approvals. The center is expected to open this coming May.

Located adjacent to the 130,000-square-foot New Britain Village Shopping Center, New Britain Corporate Center is fully approved for the development of up to 465,000 square feet of commercial space. Presently it includes a 50,000-square-foot multi-tenanted office building; a 70,000-square-foot office building developed as a build-to-suit for Chrysler Financial Services Americas LLC; a medical building for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; a life care center; and a day care center.

Current approvals allow for a 50,000-square-foot, two-story office building; a single-story 31,600-square-foot office/flex building; a two-story 59,600-square-foot office/flex building; and 150,000 square feet of office space, all within 11 planned one- and two-story office buildings.
