Brooklyn Survey Shows 65 Condos Near Distress

BROOKLYN, NY-Crain's is reporting that 65 condos in Brooklyn are nearing distress, based on a survey from Assemblyman Jeffries.

Jeffries says there was "an irrational exuberance of construction in the area over the past few years." Jeffries conducted the survey of new developments in the five Brooklyn neighborhoods he represents as an effort to promote affordable housing.
