"Liberty's LEED certifications demonstrate tremendous green building leadership," says Rick Fedrizzi, president, CEO and founding chair and the US Green Building Council, in a statement. "The urgency of USGBC's mission has challenged the industry to move faster and reach further than ever before, and Liberty serves as a prime example with just how much we can accomplish."

The certification of these two buildings mark the company's fourth and fifth LEED certification in Wisconsin. "We are thrilled that Liberty Corporate Preserve I and II have qualified for LEED Silver certification – it's quite an achievement for the entire team," says Neal Driscoll, VP of Liberty. "Having a diverse mix of properties, including LEED certified properties, provides us with the ability to offer solutions customized to each tenant, and we are pleased Cornerstone Financial selected a Liberty building for their new offices."

The properties are part of Liberty Corporate Preserve. The office building, located at 10050 S. 27th St., is a 44,000-square-foot single-floor building that will house multiple tenants. It includes 11-foot high ceilings to allow for greater daylight capactiy and water efficient operations that reduce consumption by 50%.

The flex building totals 68,000 square feet and is already 55% leased. According to company officials, "The building offers a highly efficient "envelope" with a reflective white TPO roof membrane to reduce energy consumption. It also includes the use of clerestory windows lining the dock wall to increase daylight in the warehouse."
