At Eastdil, Walmsley was responsible for marketing and executing large retail property transactions. His deals included the $2.75-billion First Washington Portfolio sale; the $234-million recapitalization of Madison Marquette-owned Bay Street in Emeryville, CA; the $345-million JV and mezzanine senior construction financings for Park Lane in Dallas; the $170-million sale of Whalers Village in Maui; and the $163-million sale of Burbank Empire Center in Burbank, CA.
Walmsley was not immediately available Monday morning for comment. Over the past 17 years he has overseen approximately $15 billion in property transactions. Walmsley will bounce between Madison Marquette's Los Angeles and New York offices.
