Montclair, NJ-based Diapers.com is moving in later this month and could increase its space to 811,000 square feet. As of now, the e-tailer is the only tenant occupying 600 First Ave., which was constructed by First Industrial last year.
With the local facility, Diapers.com will have three distribution centers across the country, also including operations in Kansas City, MO and Sparks, NV. The company posted revenues of $89.4 million last year, according to Inc. magazine.
First Industrial owns and manages 5.6 million square feet in Pennsylvania, with facilities also in Carlisle, Exton, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Middletown, Nazareth and Shiresmantown.
Nationally, First Industrial owns 97 million square feet of industrial assets across the country. Also this month, the firm signed a 400,000-square-foot distribution lease with Deere & Co. at a facility in McDonough, GA.
