Buildings that received the Energy Star designation utilize 35% less energy and release 35% less carbon dioxide when compared to other commercial properties.

For the Caremark Towers to receive the Energy Star, Colliers B&K oversaw a number of building modifications. The lighting fixtures were upgraded to T5, T8 or CFL fixtures. Automatic lighting controls were installed in all the common areas. All exterior tenant signage was converted to high-efficiency LED lighting. The four elevators were upgraded.
