"Shoppers World is a great fit for our Felbram Plaza North center and we believe they will offer great shopping opportunities for shoppers in the area," says president Mike Nassimi.
Shoppers World sells a wide array of items including clothing for men, women and children; home furnishings; home décor, and shoes. The New York-based company currently operates 13 stores throughout New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Indiana.
The retailer signed a long-term lease, although other lease details were not disclosed. The store is slated to open in March 2010. Other tenants in the 185,589-square-foot center include Dollar Tree, Payless Shoes, GameShop, Fantastic Sams, Radio Shack and GNC.
Felbram Plaza North sits on South East Street near the I-465 Interchange. According to Nassimi marketing materials, before the Shoppers World deal the in-line space was 90% leased. Now two plots remain, one 2,800-square-foot store and a 850-square-foot outparcel.
