Brady initially brokered US Shipping's lease at the M. Alfieri Co. office tower in 2003, and orchestrated an expansion just months later. He credits the latest, long-term transaction to the property's responsive ownership.
"We looked at relocation options in the surrounding area and south to Piscataway," Brady notes. "However, US Shipping has always been pleased with Alfieri's responsiveness as a landlord. When it came time to discuss the renewal, the company was extremely accommodating."
The 330,000-square-foot, 14-story asset is located within Metropark Corporate Campus. "This property offers proximity to New Jersey's ports, airports, rail system and major thoroughfares," Brady says. "This accessibility is critical for US Shipping's continued success there."
In fact, the 300-person company's 12-vessel fleet includes chemical parcel tankers, a product tanker and articulated tug barge units.
