The company operates 1,084 stores among all brands and last week reported its first profitable fourth quarter in two years. It announced net income of $17.5 million, compared with a net loss of $40.5 million for the same quarter a year ago.
"We are going to continue to build on our success," says David Dyer, Chico's president and CEO. That focus will not include gains in new front-line Chico's stores, although the company plans to open 18 to 20 Chico's outlet stores this year.
