[IMGCAP(2)]The new Larkspur and Santa Rosa offices realize "a 10-year strategic business plan to expand into the North Bay," according to Cornish & Carey CEO Chuck Seufferlein. He points out that the North Bay market comprises more than 80 million square feet of commercial real estate space.

"Establishing a presence in this important region completes our Northern California footprint," Seufferlein says, noting that C&C already maintains offices in 11 other cities: Santa Clara, Palo Alto, San Mateo, San Francisco, Oakland, Walnut Creek, Emeryville, Pleasanton, Hayward, Roseville and Sacramento.

The new C&C Larkspur office is home to 14 agents and the Santa Rosa office to six agents. C&C plans to double the sales force in both locations, both of which staff a range of C&C services, among them office, R&D, industrial and investment sales specialists. C&C plans to add retail and multi-family experts in these locations in the near future.

Ongaro, before being named the new manager of C&C's North Bay offices, was an office leasing and investment properties specialist with Orion Partners Ltd., focusing on Marin County properties. He began his real estate career with Grubb & Ellis Co. in 1986 as a research director. In January of 1996, he left Grubb & Ellis to form Orion Partners Ltd. with nine other experienced real estate agents.

Maffia and his group, which includes Putnam Daily and Justin Stark, join Cornish & Carey as C&C Leased Investment Group-Maffia Team. The team is a new addition to the C&C investment sales platform led by president Erik Doyle. The Maffia Team will continue to focus on the sale of properties leased to national, international, and regional companies on a net basis. It offers a range of advisory services on 1031 exchanges, sale-leaseback financing, dispositions and acquisitions.

Maffia joins Cornish & Carey as a managing director. Before joining C&C, he was a managing director and partner at Cassidy Turley/BT Commercial. Daily, who has been with the Maffia team since 2005, joins C&C as a vice president. Stark, who joins Cornish & Carey as asales associate, has been with the Maffia Team since January 2009 abd previously spent three years with Coldwell Banker Commercial.
