Sares-Regis To Manage 456,000-SF Marin Commons

Marin Commons is one of the largest office assets in Marin County and has office spaces ranging from 2,000 square feet to 48,000 square feet. Jeff Birdwell, president of the commercial division for Sares Regis Group of Northern California, says that the firm will initiate a fresh tenant leasing program for the property. "Our foremost priority will be to add value to the property so that, as the market recovers, there are more opportunities for the owner," Birdwell says.

Current tenants at Marin Commons include major health care, insurance and film production companies. Birdwell says that, with the recent new tenant transactions in the market, "There's a good sign that businesses are looking to expand their office space in Marin and we look forward to securing some of those deals for Marin Commons."

Marin Common consists of the 315,000-square-foot 1600 Los Gamos building and the 141,000-square-foot 1650 Los Gamos building. The 1600 Los Gamos building was erected in 1973 and renovated in 1995. The 1650 Los Gamos building was built in 1979 and renovated in 2007.

Sares Regis Group of Northern California and its affiliates, Regis Homes of NorthernCalifornia and Regis Contractors of Northern California, are regional companies based in San Mateo that are affiliated with Irvine-based Sares Regis Group.
