Maddox commented in a company statement that, "While this is a difficult decision for me, I believe it is in the best interest of our investor partners, who deserve my complete and undivided attention to the performance and execution of the Strategic Partners US investment programs. In order to live up to our investors' trust and maximize the success of the capital currently invested in these funds, I need to fully commit my attention and energy to these initiatives while Matt focuses full-time on managing the strategic direction and operation of the overall firm."

Prior to his stint at CBRE Investors, Khourie served for 29 years with Trammell Crow Co., where he most recently served as president, Development & Investment in the Southeast.
