DALLAS-Overall, student housing is a pretty stable asset group compared to other sectors, but it does still have its investment risks. Those include: not getting properties leased up by the time a school semester starts, over building and a lack of transparency that can be found in other sectors, said Richard Martinez, Southeast regional manager for Freddie Mac.
