ORLANDO-Chicago-based Blackhawk Realty has purchased the Hiawassee Oaks Apartments at 222 N. Hiawassee Road in Orlando for $2.8 million. The property was built in 1983 and houses 100 units. The asking price for the property was $29.60 per sf.
The property was purchased from Naples-based Barfield Bay Properties.
The lender to the property is Whitney Bank, which provided a new, first mortgage to Blackhawk. Both the seller and the buyer were represented by Franklin Street Real Estate Services. For the full story, go to Florida Real Estate Journal.
