SAN DIEGO-According to Smith Travel Research Inc., the hotel occupancy rates in San Diego rose by 10.1% in July 2010 compared to that of July 2010. The occupancy rate for 1H10 also rose by 6.4% to 65.6% compared to that of 1H09.
However, the average room rate at the end of 1H10 stood at $117.96, down 6.1% compared to that of the same period in 2009. The revenue per room available at the end of June fell 0.1% from that of June 2009. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal.
