MELROSE PARK, IL-Meijer Inc., a Grand Rapids-based general merchandise retailer, has inked a lease to open its third smaller-format store on North Avenue in the 375,000 square-foot shopping center, Winston Plaza, situated in west suburban Melrose Park.
The space, which will house the Meijer store, will be expanded under an $8.5 million renovation project proposed for the center. The store will measure 90,000 square feet, less than 50% of the space of its conventional superstores. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
