NEW YORK CITY-Institutions and stores on Broadway will face challenges with the appearance of new establishments.
The Barnes & Noble bookstore situated on 66th and Broadway had announced its plan to close the store by January 2011.
A Century 21 department store will replace the bookstore. Barnes and Noble, the four-story bookstore that was a mainstay for 15 years in the locality, has become a meeting place for individuals who love reading books. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
