CHICAGO-Christopher Kennedy, owner of Merchandise Mart Properties Inc., has stated that the Merchandise Mart in Chicago and associated assets are not for sale despite rumors of the same.
According to media sources, Vornado Realty Trust, who bought the properties from the Kennedys in 1998, had received a lucrative offer worth $1.25 billion for the mart and other Kennedy-run properties across the country.
