NEW YORK CITY-On Monday, Thomas DiNapoli, the New York state comptroller, approved the contract for Genting Bhd., one of the largest gaming companies in Asia, to develop the first casino, the Resorts World New York, in New York City.
Within 18 months, Genting will fully establish the new casino, located at the Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens, which will include two restaurants, 4,525 video slot machines and a skybridge joining the casino and the A train's stop at the Aqueduct. For the full story, go to The Wall Street Journal.
