PITTSBURGH-Smith Micro Software Inc., a Aliso Viejo-based connectivity and compression software maker, has announced plans to build a new research and development center here.
The 50,000 square-foot facility will house a support center of an East Coast client and data servers. The company plans to employ 230 people, who will be recruited from local schools.
