SARASOTA, FL-Sanborn Studios LLC has announced plans to build a television and film studio at Lakewood Ranch Corporate Park in Sarasota County, which includes a newly purchased production and aviation center measuring 30,000 square feet, at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.
The first phase of the studio, which could occupy 25 acres, will comprise the renovation of the existing 30,000 square-foot building. The estimated capital investment for the project will be $30 million and work will commence in 2010. For the full story, go to Florida Real Estate Journal.
