NEW YORK CITY-A taste of what’s to come at the ninth annual RealShare New York will be available free of charge, courtesy of a RealShare FreeView featuring some of the thought leaders who will be presenting at next month’s conference. The 45-minute webcast, set for 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, follows a similar “sneak peak” available earlier this month to attendees of the upcoming RealShare New Jersey.
Marcus & Millichap’s managing director of research services, Hessam Nadji, will provide an overview of the New York multifamily investment market during Thursday’s FreeView. Nadji, whose firm is sponsoring the Freeview, is scheduled to deliver a special address the current macro-economic and national real estate market at the Oct. 28 RealShare New York, and will appear as part of the “Leaders Forum: The Owners’ and Investors’ Perspective” panel.
Also on tap for Thursday’s FreeView are Howard Roth, global and Americas head of real estate at Ernst & Young; Jeffrey Lenobel, partner and chair of the real estate department at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP; and John Salustri, content director with ALM’s Real Estate Media Group. Roth appears on Thursday’s webinar as one of the “New York Power Panel” slated to kick off RealShare New York.
Lenobel will discuss the current state of financing for real estate projects—a conversation he’ll also be leading as moderator of the “Capital Markets Update” panel at next month’s conference. Salutri will moderate RealShare New York’s “Megaprojects” panel, and on Thursday he’ll give a preview of that upcoming discussion. The FreeView panelists will conduct a discussion of the New York market while touching on the topics they’ll be detailing at RealShare New York, and FreeView audience members will have the opportunity to address questions directly to the panelists. The FreeView is being presented by ALM’s Real Estate Media Group, with ALM’s Elliot Markowitz moderating; click here to register.
Next month’s RealShare New York will also feature a panel focusing on the outlook for leasing, investment, finance and development in Manhattan’s key sectors: office, multifamily and retail. Along with Nadji, Roth, Lenobel and Salustri, other industry heavyweights slated to take the stage at the Roosevelt Hotel next month include Steven Spinola, president of the Real Estate Board of New York; Glenn Rufrano, president and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield; and William Macklowe, president of the William Macklowe Co. Public-relations legend Howard Rubenstein will receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
