SEATTLE-Target Corporation, a Minneapolis-based retailer, has announced plans to open its new, smaller format store in Seattle in 2012. The new store will occupy 90,000 square feet of space as per the new urban prototype format, which varies in size between 60,000 square feet and 90,000 square feet.
The mini-Target store will deal mainly with daily essentials. The company has plans to expand its mini-Target format to ten other markets including Baltimore and San Francisco during the next five years. For the full story, go to North County Times.
