NEW YORK CITY-The new Beekman tower, the tallest residential building in New York designed by Frank Gehry, would not be open until 2011 for renters. Many reviews are already coming out on the 76-story tower.
Most of the reviews of the skyscraper have been good but some architects report the design as exaggerated. The building complements the Municipal Building and Woolworth Building. This project is the second major one in New York for Mr. Gehry. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
