NEW YORK CITY-Vans Inc., a Sneaker maker, plans to open a private skateboard park within a Brooklyn warehouse on Franklin Street in this month as part its expansion strategy to make its existence in the East Coast and New York.
Vans sponsored skateboarders will use the 24,000 square-foot warehouse primarily, which will be restricted to the public. The company also plans to use the space to conduct events for artists, magazines and retail shops. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
