WASHINGTON, DC-McDermott Will & Emery LLC has signed a letter of intent to occupy 500 N. Capitol St., NW--a Capitol Hill office building owned by Clark Enterprises and Boston Properties. McDermott plans to relocate its offices from 600 13th St., NW in November 2012. The law firm was represented by Lois Zambo and Steve London of Studley. Boston and Clark were represented by Art Santry, Phillip Thomas, Zeke Dodson and Kerri Mulligan-Salih of Cassidy Turley.
The firm will become the primary tenant in the building, which will be known as the McDermott Building. The deal also calls for a renovation of the structure, which has to be approved by the Commission of Fine Arts.
