
NEW YORK CITY-The State of New York granted about $19 million in funds to 19 clinics and hospitals to improve their mental healthcare units.
The largest project is a 130,000-square-foot facility worth $125 million, a unit of the North Shore-LIJ system on the Queens/Nassau line at Zucker Hillside. The state granted $8 million for the proposal, which will feature 115 beds. A unit of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System, Nyack Hospital received $8 million in grant to construct a 26-bed inpatient unit. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
