ORANGE COUNTY, CA-The state has selected Facilities Management West Inc. to purchase the Orange County fairgrounds, a 150-acre site, for an amount of $100 million.
The company would offer $20 million as initial payment for the site this year and pay the remaining in the coming 35 years, said the state. It lost the bid in a state auction to Craig Realty Group in January. Since the state declined the offer, Facilities Management West came up with its offer.
