LONDON-Three of most conventional style hotels in London city are being pulled into the banking crisis by the government of Ireland. The owners of Maybourne Hotel Group have recently discovered that its loans with Bank of Ireland PLC and Anglo Irish Bank Corp. are being transferred to the state-loan agency.

However, Maybourne has defended against the transfer, saying that the hotels are currently paying loans. The final verdict on the issue of transferring loans is expected on November 1. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
