SEATTLE-Developer Martin Selig has proposed new plan for an eight-story apartment building on the Western Avenue site just north of Seattle's Olympic Sculpture Park.

Originally, Selig had suggested a 14-story apartment building, but the proposal was rejected by neighbors and others who said that the project would overpower the neighborhood and the park. A proposed plan for a seven-story office development was also opposed. The new plan will be reviewed on December 14 by the city's Downtown Design Review Board.
