CHICAGO-On Thursday, the Chicago Housing Authority approved Lathrop Community Partners, the five-partner development team, to reformulate the Julia C. Lathrop Homes public housing project situated on the North Side as a mixed-use development. One third of the project at Clybourn and Diversey will be public housing.
The redevelopment project has been equally divided among affordable housing, public housing and market-rate housing. The project, which includes a mixture of up to 1,200 owned homes and rental units, will start in 2011.For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
